Narcisses effect
But still not up in class
Cheerful as a bird
Yet to stalk like a wolf
Noble as a lion
When I invite you under my roof
With a spring like a gazelle
Hard as a beetle
That is the way
I feel about freedom
While quick as a grasshopper
To get away
Aged as an alligator
While here I stay
While poignant like the snake
In every picture my soul can rake
Wise as the eagle while
I am in your bird's eye
Whimsical like a moth
If it is a sinister try
Bought or borrowed
I notice things
Animals of all kinds
With me pushing swings
Ventilation shaft
You know my craft
Me and my knife
You as my wife
Dreaming for a moment together
No matter the pain ray tether.
